What does it do?
It remembers your move for you. Every box gets a number, a photo and a QR label, and you can find anything by typing or saying its name. It keeps where each box belongs and where it actually is, counts down to the truck, shows what's next and where you left off, works out the truck size and what fits through the door, and keeps a dated record of what every mover, cleaner and landlord promised. It still works long after the move.
How do I check a moving quote for hidden fees?
Paste the quote's text into the free quote checker. It flags paperwork fees like a "binding estimate fee", a deposit that's too big, the weakest coverage already checked, a missing USDOT number, pressure to book today, and signs you're dealing with a broker instead of a mover. It runs in your browser and nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

How do you make money?
From the monthly plan for the full app, and from plans for businesses that help people move. Never from movers: we don't take a commission or a referral fee, and we never sell anyone's number.
Will moving companies call me?
No. We never ask for your phone number, and there's nothing to sell to a mover. That's the whole point.
Do I need an account?
No. You pay, and a code unlocks the app on your phone. Everything you enter stays on your own phone.
How do I put it on my phone?
iPhone and iPad: open the app in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Android: open it in Chrome and tap Install. On a computer it just runs in the browser. Once it is on your home screen it works with the wifi off.
Who made this?
Someone who was moving, not a moving company. Every warning sign on this site came from a real move this fall.
Where do the answers come from?
Federal and consumer sources: the FMCSA, the FTC and the CFPB, plus state law where it matters. Each answer names its source.
How do I know if my sofa will fit through the door?
You carry a sofa long end first, so what has to pass the doorway is its cross-section: the two smaller measurements, usually depth and height. If the smaller one is narrower than the door, it goes through straight; if not, try it on its side. Taking the legs off often saves 4 to 6 inches. The Packed Rabbit does this check against every doorway you've measured.
What size moving truck do I need?
Add up the cubic feet of your boxes and furniture and add about 15% for packing room. The Packed Rabbit does this from the actual boxes and furniture you've entered rather than a bedroom-count average, and names the truck or number of containers.
