The Packed Rabbit: the moving app
The Packed Rabbit is a phone app for anyone moving. It runs in the browser, works offline, and your list stays on your phone. There's no account.
What it does
- Numbers every box, with a photo of the inside and a printed QR label or a number you write by hand, so you can find any item without opening boxes: "where are my new sheets?" gives the box, its size and where it is.
- Tracks each box: packed, on the truck, delivered, unpacked.
- Checks a mover's quote for hidden fees, sizes the truck or storage unit from what you own, and checks a mover's federal record.
- Checks a rental before you sign: 27 questions, from the refrigerator and garbage disposal to the air filter and the lease.
- Plans the move: dates, reminders, utilities and address changes, the new state's rules, move-out photos for the deposit.
- Voice: say the whole box in one sentence ("a medium Home Depot box from the kitchen, fragile, with plates and mugs").
Price
$9.99 a month on the website. Billing stops by itself after 12 months, and your list stays on your phone. Everyone helping with your move uses it free. The checks on the website are free with no sign-up.
Made by someone who was moving, not by a moving company. We don't sell your number, we don't take a cut from movers, and your list stays on your phone.
